Epilogue

This started in my own mind. I was the one in the room. There was no brief, and there was no co-author in the other chair. It was just me.

For the first stretch, the lines were mine. By Chapter 5, the AI was writing most of it from my input. I still decided what happened. I was just not writing every line myself anymore, and frankly, I thought it showed. The choices stayed mine. A lot of the sentences did not. The purpose was for me to gauge how far agentic platforms have come.

I remember when the Internet took off and the giants were Lycos, WebCrawler, AltaVista, and others until Google showed up. Now I see OpenAI, Anthropic, SpaceXAI.

I had no idea at the time. Less than a year later, Grok Bot was released and working pretty much the same way the story had already laid out in the beginning. I could easily see the possibilities of things to come. Less of a prediction and more of a given.

The story does not name Grok Bot. I did not know the name yet. And now OpenAI has just released Dots. Want to know more about Dots? I’d say, “Google it,” but I believe that reign is over.
